Opportunity to Serve as VP of Administration and Finance

Dear BeCA Members,

After seven enriching years as Treasurer of the Belgian Cockpit Association, it is time for me to pass the baton. This role has been a stimulating and rewarding experience, allowing me to contribute to the management and development of our association. We are therefore looking for a motivated and committed member to take on this essential role.

The position of VP of Administration and Finance is central to the effective operation of our association. The key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing the association’s annual budgets;
  • Ensuring the timely payment of our employee’s salary;
  • Overseeing general accounting, including processing invoices and managing membership dues.

It’s important to note that no prior training or experience in accounting is required.

This volunteer position is open to all members who are willing to invest their time and energy. Furthermore, the role can be carried out remotely, offering great flexibility.

The Treasurer works closely with our employee, who is responsible for daily accounting tasks and payment management. While the position requires a certain level of rigour and organizational skills, it offers an excellent opportunity to develop financial expertise and actively contribute to the sustainability of the Belgian Cockpit Association.

I will, of course, remain available to support my successor during the transition and ensure a smooth handover.
