Antiskid

Besides Stiftung Mayday, EAT Leipzig decided to join the Antiskid pilot assistance program.

Where Stiftung Mayday mainly focuses on accident/incident stress management, Antiskid is aimed at supporting pilots who are facing difficulties in their life, such as alcohol and drug consumption. This service will also be extended to personal issues, like burnout or psychological stress.

Concretely speaking, one contact person familiar with line flying – but not part of the management – will be designated as contact point for pilots feeling the need to share their problems.

Cockpit Crew Committee

On the flight crew representation side, the LEJ Cockpit Crew Committee representing all LEJ based crewmembers was re-elected this November. The amount of representatives was increased from 3 to 5 due to the increasing number of pilots within the company. We are pleased that the Vereinigung Cockpit representation was doubled and congratulate Cpt Reinhard Grube and Frank Meinhold on their election.

Negotiations for a first CLA for the LEJ based crewmembers are still ongoing.
