Brussels, 12 June 2025 – The Belgian Cockpit Association (BeCA) extends its deepest condolences to the families, friends, and loved ones of all those affected by the tragic crash of an Air India Boeing 787 earlier today. Our thoughts are with them during this incredibly difficult time.

BeCA remains committed to supporting a transparent investigation and urges caution against speculation in media and social media surrounding this event. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident should strictly follow the provisions laid out in ICAO Annex 13, with conclusions and safety
recommendations identified by the appropriate investigative bodies.
