Since Ryanair recognised the application of Belgian labour law by signing a collective labour agreement (CLA) in January 2019, conflicts between its pilots based in Belgium and Ryanair management have continued to grow.
The company regularly circumvents its legal obligations, sector agreements and company agreements signed with pilot representatives.
For all these reasons, and without a serious proposal from Ryanair concerning their demands before noon Brussels time on Friday 7 July, the Ryanair pilots based in Belgium are announcing their intention to go on strike on 15 and 16 July.
