In 2015, in view of regulation EU 376/2014 on the reporting, analysis and follow-up of occurrences in civil aviation – which came into force on 15 November 2015 – BeCA launched a 3-year project, in the form of an online survey. It is aimed at benchmarking the level of Safety Culture in Belgium. The deidentified data will be discussed with airlines and the BCAA. This is the 2nd edition. Last year, over 400 pilots responded and we hope this year participation will be even higher. You can have a look at the results of last year’s survey on our website.
We therefore need all of you to take only 15 minutes of your time to respond honestly (and anonymously, obviously) to these questions about your daily work and forward it to all your colleagues. Thanks to the results of this study, we will have a better idea about the implementation of Just Safety within our airlines and we will be able to better tackle remaining issues.
Thereafter, we will analyse and summarise the available data and publish our conclusions on the BeCA website.
Should you have any question/comment/concern, please feel free to send us an email.
Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation.
Best regards,
BeCA Air Safety Committee
